We've partnered up with Binary Bus on a project in Atlanta called HiperGIS. HiperGIS is a product that works with ArcGIS to create maps for government utility companies.
I remember seeing ArcGIS in action when I worked for the St. Johns County MIS Department. They had their own staff of about five guys that only did ArcGIS. They had the best computers, dual flat screen monitors, the works. Providing online map solutions is an important service for local government.
They've called on us to provide some ASP.NET and Silverlight assistance to add GIS functionality to an existing application for various counties in the Atlanta area. |
